Mindful movement for kids

Hi, how are you all coping out there? A couple months ago a new reality set in for parents all around the globe. We were thrown into an unknown world of homeschooling and lock down and all of a sudden we had to embrace this new normal way of life. There are a couple of ways that have been helping me stay healthy, happy and balanced during this time while maintaining a fun learning environment for the kids. With three children, it’s a constant struggle trying to find time to myself so taking 30 minutes to an hour to center myself each morning engaging in a morning meditation, workout or yoga session allows me to feel human again. I also make sure I have soaked in some vitamin D outside daily that gets me ready to tackle the day. I’ve been encouraging the kids to also move their bodies everyday in some capacity whether that be joining me in a workout, dancing to their favorite song, taking a walk, scooter or bike ride outside. Today I’d like to share a mindful movement class that two out of three of my kids participated in. Please join in, move your bodies with your kids, be crazy silly and enjoy this precious time the universe has given us. Stay healthy, stay safe and stay sane fellow moms! Happy Mother’s Day
Namaste
